Win 7 SP1 Blue Task Manager by Elmer-BeFuddled Win 7 SP1 Blue Task Manager by Elmer-BeFuddled
Blue Task Manager for Windows 7 SP1.

I got fed up waiting for an SP1 version. Being the impatient bugger that I am I hacked it myself. First time ever using a Hex Editor!!

Product Version 6.1.7601.17514, 32 or 64 bit.

Default icon also changed with my own.

Added Blue Task Manager with default icon and also "True" Task Managers (x2) for 64 bit system.

Links to a couple of additions:-

Task Manager 7600.zip (Pre SP1).

This doesn't work. Keep getting incorrect version error when I try to use it. Windows 7 32bit SP1. Any suggestions?

Aah, Maybe I should've mentioned was made on a 64 bit machine! Have you dropped the Task Manager of your choice from the system 32 folder into your System 32 folder?

Rename your original TASKMGR.EXE to TASKMGEROLD.EXE. drop the new TASKMGR.EXE in it's place.

This is only compatible with Windows 7 SP1, right? No "normal" Windows 7 supported?
